Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to Nashik's renowned Kalaram temple, dedicated to Lord Ram, offering prayers

PM Modi actively engaged in 'bhajan' and 'kirtan,' and leaned into the spirituality at the Kalaram temple.

Modi played 'taal' (cymbals) along with other devotees connecting with the cultural and devotional practices at the shrine.

Before reaching the temple, PM Modi held a roadshow in Nashik with CM Eknath Shinde, Deputies Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar accompanying him.

The visit to the Kalaram temple comes just 10 days before the consecration of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.

At the temple, Modi performed 'pujan' and 'aarti' of Lord Ganesh and Lord Ram, actively participating in the traditional rituals conducted by Chief Priest Mahant Sudhirdas Pujari.

The PM, immersed in the religious atmosphere, took part in 'pradakshina' (circumambulation) of the temple.

PM Modi listened to an epic narrative of the Ramayana, specifically the 'Yudh Kanda' segment, presented in Marathi, with the PM listening to the Hindi version through AI translation.
