On Friday morning, 12th July, Mumbai woke up to heavy rains across the city. The incessant rains caused severe waterlogging across several areas in the city post Mumbai Rains. Massive waterlogging was witnessed at King’s Circle in Mumbai. Visuals of the waterlogged roads from the King`s Circle area surfaced online wherein authorities in reflective rain gear could be seen giving directions to the driver to steer him clear of a dangerous spot. Pedestrians and vehicles crossed heavily waterlogged streets at the King’s Circle. The latest forecast predicts heavy to very heavy rains over Mumbai and MMR areas likely in next 48 hours which may create waterlogging as rain will be consistently moderate to heavy for at least next 24-36 hours.
