Delhi police submits probe report today, complainant says it is useless without his account

With the 90-day period granted to them by the court to probe the sedition charges against Kashmiri separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Booker Prize winner Arundhati Roy coming to an end, the Delhi Police is all set to submit their probe report to the court on Friday. Surprisingly, the cops haven't questioned the complainant, who also happens to be the eyewitnesses in the case, during their probe.

"It's unbelievable. The police didn't even bother to call me as I am the complainant and an eyewitness. There is no point in submitting such a report that has no account of the complainant. This is just wasting the time of the court," said Sushil Pandit, on whose complaint the court had directed the police to lodge an FIR. The police denied to comment saying that the case is already in the court.
