63-year-old scrap dealer from south Delhi claims the accused is usurping his property using forgery and death threats
Five months ago MiD DAY had reported the travails of 63-year-old Keval Krishan, a scrap dealer from Paharganj, who was allegedly being tormented by his son Vishal (35).
The accused allegedly threatened his father to hand over his property and occasionally even beat his parents. Following MiD DAY's report, Vishal had disappeared for some time. But now he is back.
"I got space for a new shop on rent and started my scrap business again. But my son somehow got scent of it and started threatening me. I complained against him at the local police station and to the DCP of the area and even to the Commissioner of Police. My son raided my shop on the 18th of this month and took away goods worth 2 lakh rupees," said Keval Krishan, the victim.
Vishal has been married twice and lives with both his wives. He is also involved in some criminal cases in the area.
"Vishal is a known criminal and his wife Monika helps him. I suspect that she is provoking him to grab my property. Whenever I try to do some business he somehow manages to get information and starts torturing me for money and property. He has already grabbed my property in Paharganj. Now I only have my flat left and he even wants that," Keval added. Cops said that such family issues must be settled within, and police will take action if needed.
