'Want copy of closure report'

Parents of slain teenager ask for paperwork, slam CBI for maligning them

Deprecating the CBI's failure to solve the murder of teenager Aarushi Talwar, her irked parents said Sunday they will apply for a copy of the closure report filed by the investigating agency.

Speaking to reporters here, Rajesh and Nupur Talwar slammed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for not being able to solve the case.

However, the couple and their lawyer, Rebecca John, made it clear that they will examine the closure report before taking any further action.

"We are asking the court to allow us to examine the entire closure report and will make the necessary intervention at the appropriate time," John said.
