A PASSENGER traveling in a tempo was seriously injured when the vehicle rammed into Pune-Mumbai Asiad bus at Wadgaon near a tunnel on the Expressway. The mishap took place at 5.30 am yesterday. The tempo was totally damaged.

The Wadgaon police, with the help of a crane, had to rip off the tempo to rescue the injured passenger. Identity of the injured was not ascertained, the police informed.
Traffic woes
Meanwhile, engine oil spread near Chinchwad railway station on the Pune-Mumbai highway caused traffic problems yesterday morning. Due to slippery road, the Pimpri-Chinchwad fire brigade rushed to the spot and managed to clear the road clear by 6 am.

The traffic stood still for over an hour.
