At least 10 people were killed and more than 30 injured when a passenger bus fell into a gorge on Sunday in Arunachal Pradesh.
A police spokesperson said the accident took place near Zero Point in East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh before dawn Sunday.
"The driver lost control and the bus fell down into a deep gorge some 300 metres down. Ten bodies have since been recovered. Besides, 33 people have been admitted to local hospitals with serious injuries," a police officer said.
The bus was on way from Seppa in East Kameng district to Tezpur in Assam.

"The bus was probably carrying some 45 to 50 people," the official said.
Rescue workers were looking for more people. "The terrain is hilly and hostile and hence rescue teams are finding it difficult," the official said.
