Eleven people were killed and five others injured when a lorry in which they were travelling turned turtle at Visakhapatnam district in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday, police said.
The mishap took place in the wee hours near S Rayavaram Mandal when the driver of the lorry, laden with glass blocks, lost control over the vehicle, they said.
The lorry was on its way to Srikakulam from East Godavari district, police said. The injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals and further investigations are on, they added.
