A 16-year-old class 10th student allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison at her residence at Saidabad in Telangana.
Sattaiah the Circle Inspector in Saidabad police station informed ANI that 'Yesterday evening the deceased came back home from her school and became unconscious after consuming unidentified form of poison'.
He further said, 'The family took her to a nearby hospital, where she died while undergoing the treatment.' Her body was later sent to Osmania General Hospital for the post-mortem examination.

The father of the deceased told ANI. 'My daughter studies in Kurma Guda Government school, she went to school we don't know what happened she went inside her room and drank poison, what (ever) happened in the school I don't know. (I do not know) who is responsible for this.'
No suicide note has been recovered from the site. The case has been registered under the section 174d of Code of Criminal Procedure and further investigation is on.
