As many as 17 new Covid-19 cases have been reported in Thane on September 21, taking its infection count to 1,96,544, as per data received by Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
With the addition of the latest cases on Wednesday, Thane currently has 181 active Covid-19 cases.

No death was reported on Wednesday and the Covid-19 fatality toll in Thane stood at 2,161.

As per the bulletin, 33 Covid patients recovered, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning in the city to 1,94,202. The recovery rate in the TMC area is 98.81 per cent.
