3 men ask for lift, drive away with car

Three men allegedly drove away with a company car on Tuesday near old Katraj canal. They stopped driver Jagdish Jalshinge (24), a Hadapsar resident, near Gujarwadi petrol pump for a lift. Jalshinge was returning home from Pune-Satara Road after dropping company employees in Bibvewadi.

Jalshinge agreed to give the lift. Later, he heard a strange sound coming from the bonnet and got out of the car to inspect the source of the sound. Seizing the opportunity, the hitchhikers drove the car away.u00a0

Jalshinge's mobile was also in the car. Jalshinge filed a complaint atu00a0 Bharati Vidyapeeth police station. The car was owned by a company in Shindewadi.
