Here's what you should be buying at three just-opened city stores

Vaya
Where V ya, Jeevan Kiran, SV Road, Bandra (W). call 26436556
Head to this new hand woven textiles store, if it's the ethnic-chic look you wanna sport this festive season. The store is a one-stop-shop for the finest textiles from the looms of Maheshwar, Bengal, Uppada, Kanchipuram, Benaras, Tussars and Kota. We especially like the simple Tussar sarees that can be worn to work or glammed up with the right accessories.

Freedom Tree
Where Building Number 28, first floor, Raghuvanshi Mills Compound, Senapati Bapat Marg, Lower Parel.Call 24984443
Freedom Tree is essentially a design consultancy and their newly-opened store is a place to showcase products by their team of designers. The store has products under four broad categories - textiles, lights, furniture, ceramics and fragrances. The bookcase that looks like a bunch of hollowed cubes are precariously balanced over each other in steps is a must buy.

Play Clan
Where Ground floor, Libra Towers, opposite St Peter's Church, Hill Road, Bandra (W). call 26401675
Ok, we know so you've had enough of people going ga-ga over the quirky designs at this store. What to do? There's such dearth of original desi designs for us to show off after all. Walk into this store to pick up kitschy cardholders, sports bras, BEST boxers, pocket mirrors, etc. While you're there try not getting lost in the maze of the Dilli Darshan Lamp. You won't leave the store without it!
