Dengue cases show no signs of declining in the national capital with the number of patients affected by the vector-borne disease rising to 4,244 on Tuesday.

The city has reported seven dengue deaths this season. A total of 79 fresh cases were recorded Tuesday.
Rohini reported the highest number of 524 cases this season followed by Civil Lines and South Delhi (519 each), Shahdara North (449) and Central Zone (423).

Delhi has also reported 21 cases of chikungunya this season. Dengue is a kind of febrile disease that is transmitted by aedes mosquito.
