A group art show is giving viewers a chance to catch works by master artists
It's not often that one gets the chance to catch a glimpse of works by masters. An art show is giving you the chance to do just that. 'The Capital' -- an annual art show gives connoisseurs the chance to understand the variety of moods, modes and artistic possibilities that are currently doing the rounds at the art scene.

Apprising the collective beauty of Indian art and providing an understanding of the artist's high points of creative expression is the sole intention of this group display where various themes can be examined.
The exhibition showcases works by some of the outstanding artists of the present time. So you can find works by eminent artists like FN Souza, Asit Kumar Patnaik, Datta Bansode, Ganesh Pyne, Jamini Roy, Jagannath Paul, Lalu Prasad Shaw, Laxma Goud, Paritosh Sen, Prokash Karmakar,u00a0 Shyamal Dutta, Sujata Achrekar and Veena B among others. One of Souza's rare 1983 piece happens to be the star attraction of the exhibition.
If you love watercolours, you will be spoilt for choice. Take a look at the classic portrayals by veteran artist Sudip Roy.u00a0 Others to look out for areu00a0 masters like Jogen Choudhury, whose compelling face study has viewers glued. Creating a dazzling effect through their works that discharge perfection in their treatment of subjects and the characteristic finesse of their art, are artists like Partho Bhattacharya, Ramesh Gorjala, Sushobhan Adhikary, Sanatan Dinda.
The show exhibits works by artists from different schools and different regions of the country, giving you a glimpse on the wide array of talent available.
