Aamir Khan is coming in July to pick the Voice of Bangalore, Season 3.
Nandeesh M R, manager, Garuda Mall, which is hosting the event is hoping that Aamir, who is to inaugurate the show, will stay throughout and finally pick the winners. "We are waiting for his response as the dates when he will be with us are yet to be confirmed," Nandeesh said.
Aamir, who was in the city recently to shoot for Rajkumar Hirani's Three Idiots at Indian Institute of Management, will replace Kailash Kher who picked the winners of VoB Season 2. He will select the best male and female singers from among 12 contestants.
VoB Season 3, to begin from July 9, comes with a lot of changes this time. For one, there'll be stars galore from both Bollywood and Sandalwood to pick the best voices. While director Yograj Bhat, music director Gurukiran and singer Chitra are among the panelists from the Kannada film industry, singer Sonu Nigam, actors Aamir Khan and Genelia D'Souza are some of the stars from Mumbai.
Hrithik too?
But sponsor Coca Cola was cagey with details about the visiting stars. A senior official who didn't want to be named would only say: "Chances of either Hrithik Roshan or Genelia coming down can't be ruled out."
