A 41-year-old Air Force constable allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling at his house, after the Haryana police failed to recover his stolen car. The incident was reported from Vasant Kunj area of south Delhi on Tuesday.

Police said the deceased was identified as Kuldeep Singh, who is survived by his wife and a five-year-old son.
"Police recovered a suicide note from the possession of the deceased, which read he had taken a huge loan to buy a car. Then his car was stolen in Haryana.

Kuldeep lodged a complaint with the Haryana police in this regard but nothing happened. He has further mentioned in the note that he was unable to pay the high interest on the loan he had taken," said the police source.

According to the family, Kuldeep was depressed. His family found him hanging and called the police around 4 am on Tuesday. His body has been sent to AIIMS for post-mortem.
