The minimum temperature recorded in Delhi was 25.8 degrees Celsius Wednesday.

"The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 42 degrees Celsius. The humidity is also quite high - 54 percent. It will be another hot and humid day today (Wednesday)," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

On Tuesday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 26 degrees while and the maximum was 41 degrees Celsius.
