Anu is a remake of Telugu movie Anusooya. Debutant director Shivaganapati has done a much better job than the original. The film's narration, theme and suspense sequences are solid. The story holds the audience's attention till the end.u00a0u00a0u00a0

Producer-cum-actor Balu has acted fairly well while Pooja Gandhi is quite exceptional. The others, Nagakiran, Sundar, Rashmi and Dattanna, have done a good job as well. One can see some great camera work from cameraman Niranjan Babu. Music by Shekarchandra soothes the ears.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0
