For noted actor Anupam Kher, yesterday was one of his most exciting shoots. He successfully gave his first take in his debut Marathi film, speaking the words: "Tu kasa aahes (how are you)?"
The film Kashala Udyachi Baat began shooting at Complink in Hinjewadi and is being made by Saiprasad Production of B K Bhapkar, a city-based producer. The film is directed by Pramod Joshi, and Sachin Khedekar, Mrunal Kulkarni and Atul Parchure are the three major actors working with Kher in it.
"The subject of the film was challenging and I like the storyline," said Kher. "I wish this project had come to me much earlier. My team is good and cooperative, and I will be able to speak Marathi in the film."
The film has music by city-based music director Dr Salil Kulkarni and lyrics by popular poet Sandeep Khare.
Kashala Udyachi Baat is simultaneously being made in Hindi as Chhodo Kalki Baten. The shooting itinerary is Hinjewadi, Mulshi dam, Panshet and some interior areas of the city.u00a0
