They were learning tricks of technology but the lure of money proved too much for them to resist.Three B Tech students of Ghaziabad district in Uttar Pradesh have been arrested along with four others, a seven-member gang, which was involved in drug trafficking.

They were arrested on Tuesday from Kavi Nagar in Ghaziabad during checking of vehicles. The cops seized Brown Sugar worth Rs 35 lakh from their possession. "An over-speeding car did not stop during routine checking.

When it was finally made to come to a halt, we checked the vehicle and found 350 grams of Brown Sugar. All seven occupants of the car were immediately taken into custody," said a police officer. During interrogation three accused confessed that they were engineering students.

"All of the accused are young and in the age group of 19 to 26. In the interrogation we found that three of the accused are engineering students. They have been identified as -- Rajender, Akash, Kapil, Jagmohan, Manish, Vikas and Pankaj.

Akash and Kapil are student of B Tech in DJ engineering college on Rewari Road and Vikas is a student of an engineering college in Modinagar," the police officer said. "The students told us that they joined the gang in the lure of making some quick money," he added.
