BJP MLA Sampangi was caught red-handed by the Lokayukta sleuths while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,00,000 in his room at the Legislator's House in Bangalore, today afternoon.
The slueths have seized Rs 4,50,000 cheque and Rs 50,000 cash from the culprit.
u00a0 According to the sources, the MLA from KGF was accepting bribe to help one Farooq clear a murder case pending against him.
