Banned terror outfit United Liberation Front of Asom or ULFA, on Monday released a video of Assam BJP leader's kidnapped son. ULFA has demanded a one crore rupee ransom for his release.

Ratnaswer Moran's son Kuldeep was kidnapped by ULFA from Arunachal Pradesh on August 1, say the police.

The video shows Kuldeep Moran, in a green T-shirt, kneeling down and surrounded by five masked men armed with assault rifles.

A video by the banned outfit is uncommon although ULFA is infamous for kidnappings in the region

The BJP came to power in Assam earlier this year after winning the state election.
