A 25-year-old man working with Wipro BPO in Bangalore reportedly committed suicide in a lodge in Deccan behind Purab hotel. The incident came to light yesterday around 2 pm.

The deceased was identified as Sushilkumar Singh (25), hailing from Jharkhand. A case was registered at the Deccan police station. No suicide note was recovered from the room where Singh was found hanging.

According to the police, Singh was a graduate and was studying at the University of Pune. He had gone to Bangalore just four months ago and was working there in the BPO section of Wipro.

Singh returned to the city on Friday, reportedly for a medical check-up at a hospital run by a city-based doctor.

He checked into the Gajlaxmi lodge on Saturday and was found hanging in his room the next afternoon by a waiter.

After this discovery, the lodge owner informed the police, who were able to established the identity of the deceased later in the day.

The police also interrogated a girl with whom Singh had interacted before ending his life, but nothing substantial is believed to have come out of the inquiry.

The police believe Singh might have had some medical problems and ended his life out of frustration over it.
