During the dark hours of the coming weekend, three capital-based rock bands will set the stage on fire. As they prepare for their naughty night, Swati Kumari introduces you the bands and their track lists

Rusted Strings: They are influenced by Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, Alter Bridge, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden. Majorly into distinct metal and alternative sound, the five-member gang, for its latest creations, has dug into issues pertaining to everyday life.
In fact, this is the group that has organised the event. "Such events are received well, and I am sure we will have an edition next year too.
However, if any band wants to participate, they need to be real good," says Michael, vocalist, lyricist and composer for the band.u00a0

Mark: Rhythm guitar and composition
Bharat: Bass guitar
Prateek: Drums

Lavender Carnage: It is a three-piece punk/alternative rock group comprising an experienced bassist, drummer and a young punk vocalist-guitarist. The backgrounder of this one-year-old band is an interesting story. The founding members of the band, Bharat and Srijan, met one day and jammed together for an unplugged gig at a Cafe Coffee Day outlet. It was here that they spotted their mutual chords, and teamed. But later, Bharat had to quit due to personal problems. Then entered Vaibhav on bass. The gang tried several drummers before settling for Akhil, who had a natural punk attitude and was superb with drums. Today, every musician of this five-member band has different musical inspirations, but when they are at stage, their notes reflect sheer unity and sincerity. About the upcoming performance, lead vocalist Srijan says, "We follow punk because it's modern and differently conventional. For the concert, we will be playing few of our original creations and fusion numbers."

Vaibhav Bakshi: Vocal and bass
Akhil Saluja: Backing vocals and drums

Rampazze: The classic rock band, formed over a bottle of whisky in 2006, sticks to their blue-sy roots while delivering their music in an edgier fashion. With their impressive, groovy and interesting riffs, wild stage histrionics and their tongue-in-cheek lyrics, they are bound to blow you off. The band is heavily inclined towards AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Van Halen, Motley Crue, Mr Big, Alice Cooper, Megadeth, Slik Toxic and others in the genre. About the pre-performance nervousness, Boro reveals, "Crowd defines the success of any artist and we are no different. We always look forward to a good turn up. If that does not happen, we might be a little bit low, but we give our best once we have taken the stage."
Himangshu Rava: Vocals and guitar
Abhishek Boro: Vocal and lead guitar
Joshringdao Phonglo: Backing vocal and bass
Khan: Drums
