Bhushan attacker launches campaign for ACP Dhoble

Known as Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena, the group hogged limelight recently when its members slapped Team Anna member and Supreme Court Lawyer, Prashant Bhushan in his Supreme Court chamber when he was giving an interview to a TV channel.u00a0

They were unhappy with Bhushan over his comments on Kashmir, wherein the Team Anna member had advocated a plebiscite in the state. Since then the group has been in news for every wrong reason in the city.

"Following ACP Dhoble's raids on bars and similar other places, he was being projected as villain. He is not doing any illegal thing. He is rescuing innocent girls from flesh trade and nabbing those who use drugs and saving our society from social evils," said Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, President of Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena.

The Twitter page was launched on Wednesday and within 24 hours, it has more than 200 supporters.

"Campaigns in his support are being run in Mumbai by various groups. The idea of online campaign was to counter negative campaign against him, which was launched by many on social networking sites. Our campaign on Twitter and Facebook in support of the Mumbai police cop is to show solidarity with him," he said.

If need be, we can go for campaigns in Delhi as well, he added.

Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, with his friends have also petitioned Delhi High Court for an interim stay on the release of Bollywood film 'Shanghai' until its controversial song 'Bharat Mata ki jai' is removed from the film. However, court refused to entertain the plea.

Before that BSKS had also announced to award one Harvidner Singh, who slapped Agriculture Minister, Sharad Pawar in November 2011 in a function in Delhi saying that he had done a brave act.
