Look who's talking
Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid reportedly voiced his disappointment over the lack of âideological direction' from Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi, promptly becoming a trending topic. Sreemoy Talukdar tweeted: âKhurshid has been hung out to dry. He should take a few lessons from Pranab Mukherjee on how to manipulate the media.' Akhilesh Mishra had this to say: âSupposing you are told to parrot 2 + 2 = 100. Some day you will trip up and say 2 + 2 = 4. That is what happened with Khurshid.' And from Faking News: âKhurshid criticized Rahul? This time Sonia Gandhi will see tears in his eyes.'
Who says what?
Bal Thackeray termed Manmohan Singh âpolitically impotent', adding that it was high time the PM and Sonia Gandhi handed over the country to a person with fighting spirit. Milend Singh pointed out: âThackeray, who always opposed western culture, is charged by a Time magazine quote on the PM.'
The last word
From writer Chetan Bhagat: âTime calling PM an underachiever? Come on. Who else has achieved such a high position for so long by doing so little work?'
