Seems like the battle for Bollywood movie 'Udta Punjab' makers is not over yet
Seems like the battle for Bollywood movie 'Udta Punjab' makers is not over yet. After winning the case against Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), they again approached the Bombay High Court yesterday seeking an order to ban all websites that had uploaded the pirated copy of the film that was leaked on Wednesday.
The producers Phantom Films had also filed a case under relevant sections of the Companies Act and IT Act with cyber crime cell saying that the copy of 'Udta Punjab', which will release today, was leaked online.
The HC, while refusing to ban all 800 websites that have the movie's pirated version, ordered all internet service providers and cable TV providers not to give its subscribers the access to the download link on these websites. Meanwhile, the investigators said they have obtained "some leads" in the online leakage of the movie.
