Police arrest two suspects, say dispute after booze party may have instigated friends to hit him with iron rod
A 35-year-old man, working as a driver, was found killed last morning at Pimpri gaon in front of the Boat Club. The police suspect that the deceased was murdered on Sunday late night by his friends after they had a booze party and have arrested two suspects.

The deceased has been identified as Suresh Gangaji Gosavi (35) who was staying in Pimpri gaon and was from Nandurbar district. The Pimpri police have arrested Tejas Shinde (24) and Sunil Kudale (24), both from Waghire Colony of Pimpri, on charges of murdering Gosavi.
Gosavi was working as a driver for one Bhushan Vasant Mahale, owner of Om Sai Enterprises, a fabrication unit located in front of Boat Club, while Shinde and Kudale are working at the Arjun Industries, owned by Pravin Waghire. Mahale has lodged a complaint at the Pimpri police station regarding Gosavi's murder.
Police Inspector Tukaram Gaud said that the suspects confessed that they had killed Gosavi to their company owner Waghire, who later informed the police. Gosavi's body was sent for post-mortem to the Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial hospital.
"Gosavi and the suspects were working as employees in the industrial units of Pimpri gaon. All the employees had a late night party after finishing work on Sunday. During the party, some dispute may have taken place which instigated his friends to assault him.
Gosavi was beaten up with an iron rod as serious injuries were seen on his head," said Inspector Gaud. Last morning, Shinde and Kudale went to their owner's office and confessed about their crime. Waghire then called up the police and handed over the two suspects."
