New Delhi: High to moderate turnout was registered across all the 7 states which went to polls on Saturday. A high turnout of 81 per cent was recorded in two Lok Sabha and one assembly constituency in West Bengal.
A very high voter turnout was recorded in the by-poll to Barjala and Khowai assembly seat in Tripura, while an estimated 61 per cent voted in Assam. A 66-71 per cent turnout was recorded in Madhya Pradesh, while 72 per cent turnout was registered in Hayuliang constituency, bordering China, in ArunaÂchal Pradesh.
Polling crossed 50 per cent in all three constituencies in Tamil Nadu by 1 pm.
