Uses daily blogs, pictures, videos and live webcasts to reach young urban voters through his website
Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa, who is known for his grasp of grass root politics, now wants to use daily blogs, pictures, videos and live webcasts to reach young urban voters through his website https://yeddyurappa.in
"We have roped in state of the art technology to ensure the site meets the CM's expectations. Thousand of citizens submitted their suggestions on the 'Interact with BSY' section of the website in the last few days. He answered some of them personally," said Harsha Perla, director, Dhyeya Tech, the company that created the website.
Yedyurappa has not been blogging for some time due to his busy schedule.
"He wishes he had enough time to blog regularly. As that has not been happening, we are exploring other options that would allow him to express himself and not take so much time," said Perla.
Umadevi believes the website will take her father closer to the people.

"The website was created so the people have a platform to interact with the CM.
We are glad citizens are using the website to air their grievances, which are being responded to him," said Umadevi, the chief minister's daughter.
