Following in the footsteps of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, who took his family for a movie a few days ago, even Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa took his daughter for a show of Eradane Maduve last evening.

Yeddyurappa was scheduled to reach the theater in Mantri mall at 7.30 pm. However, the CM gave organisers a surprise, as he reached the venue 10 minutes early.

His sudden arrival created chaos outside the venue because the cops weren't ready with the security arrangement. Soon after he reached the mall, the security personnel escorted him inside the theatre.

When quizzed, he said that the film's producer had invited her. "Due to the ongoing political strain in the state, Yeddyurappa was quite stressed.

Her daughter had called me to enquire about the film. I told her that it's a comedy flick and will surely help him get over the stress," Tara said.

Although the actress reached the venue after the CM, she left with him and Uma after watching the movie.
