The cadets of National Defence Academy (NDA) in Khadakwasala got an opportunity to attend a special session recently.

Well, it was an assembly where spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar himself gave these armed force aspirants a few tips on how to keep their mind calm and focused.

Also, Sri Sri Ravishankar gave a rousing lecture on how to be a good soldier along with some lessons on meditation tou00a0 cadets from all three wings ofu00a0 the defence forces.

When asked the reason why these future soldiers should undergo such training, the spiritual guru, said, "Spiritualism, in India, was born in the battlefield of Mahabharata which was fought in Kurukshetra."

He added that it's the need of the hour to fill the hearts of these boys with self-confidence, joy and fervour.

Also, he informed the cadets on how to be an integrated, innovative and intuitive combatant.

A number of techies too attended the session at the NDA.

Jayesh Agarwal, director of a digital arts academy who attended the assembly said, "Meditation has helped me considerably to overcome shyness and has boosted my self-confidence.

It has also helped greatly in improving my interpersonal relationship and has even cured my migraine."
