As the Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar is unraveled in Delhi first time ever, poster boys vie for a rumoured male edition
The trend has already been set by the inaugural edition of liquor baron Vijay Mallya's Force India Formula One Season 2009 calendar which has desi damsels Monikangana Dutta, Shruti Agrawal and Sheetal Menon posing with F1 drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Adrian Sutil. "It's great to have guys on the pages. Yes, I think a men's special would rock, especially with someone like Brad Pitt, Matt Damon or even Hrithik Roshan on it," said Shruti. Former Miss India and social activist Nafisa Ali has a more detailed plan to suggest: "Alternating with a girl for April and a man for May would be a novel thing."
Meanwhile, top designers don't mind dressing up the dudes. "Yes, it'd be interesting to do it," said JJ Valaya. The only spoilsports were style guru Ritu Kumar and singer Amrish. "No, I'm not in favour of the conceptu00e2u0080u00a6 this is a tradition that has been going on; it's good this way," Ritu said. The man behind the brand, however, isn't talking about the prospect yet.
