The injured were taken to KC General Hospital in an auto at 2.45 am. At the time of the collision, there were five employees of a software firm and the driver in the cab.

"It was raining and I couldn't really see where I was going. I saw the divider suddenly but by then it was too late," said driver Anand Kumar.
While the driver suffered no injuries, three passengers at the backseat suffered major injuries to the upper part of their bodies and faces.
Lithika H, who was seated in the backseat of the car, suffered major injuries to her face and right eye. She said, "I was asleep when it happened. When I woke up I was covered in blood. My eye hurts a lot."
The vehicle also sustained damage on the front after the collision with the divider.
