The Deccan Gymkhana police station officials yesterday evening released sketches of three of the suspects in the case of kidnap and robbery of a CoEP student, Nikhil Gatagat.

Gatagat was sedated, packed into a car and robbed of Rs 60,000 before he was dumped into the Vashi creek off Mumbai on Saturday evening.

"On the basis of the description given by Gatagat, we have prepared sketches of the three suspects, including those of the auto-rickshaw driver and his fellow passenger," Senior Police Inspector Manohar Joshi said.

The police are still groping in the dark in the case as no solid link has been established so far. The police officials appealed to the citizens to contact them if they came across anybody who resembled any of sketches.

Any body with any information on the suspects may also call the Deccan police station on the phone numbers 9823564545, 020-25675005 or 020-25662375.u00a0
