Congress' Vishwajeet Kadam is the richest candidate for the Lok sabha elections in Pune constituency with assets worth Rs 87.47 crore. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party's Subhash Ware is the poorest contender with assets amounting to Rs 49.41 lakh.
Meanwhile, BJP's Anil Shirole and MNS's Deepak Paigude also declared their assets, while filing nomination papers at Council Hall yesterday.
Kadam has ornaments worth Rs 87.18 lakh while his wife Swapnali owns jewellery worth Rs 5 crore. The couple has Rs 46.30 crore worth of moveable assets, while their immovable assets are valued at Rs 42.58 crore.
As far as vehicles are concerned, Kadam does not have a single vehicle in his own name, but his wife Swapnali has four - Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Range Rover and Toyota Innova. Kadam and his wife have declared that they are farmers.
The second richest is the BJP candidate who has three vehicles in his name while his wife Madhuri has two.
As many as Rs 10.97 crore worth of assets are owned by Shirole and that of Rs 11.97 crore by his wife. Shirole owns three luxury cars and his wife owns two. He also owns immovable properties including commercial and residential properties of Rs 8 crore, while his wife owns immovable properties of Rs 10 crore.
MNS' Paigude and his wife together own assets of Rs. 12.48 crore which include immovable properties worth Rs 10 crore. Paigude owns five vehicles and also cattle worth Rs 96 lakh. Ware owns assets of worth Rs 49.41 lakh, including a flat in Pune and agriculture land. Ware owns two two-wheelers.
