The Pimpri police have registered a case against Congress corporator Amar Mulchandani and his four other associates on charges of threatening a citizen to vacate his house. The incident took place on Saturday and Monday night at the complainant's residence.
According to the complaint, Nanik Ramchandra Punjabi (45), a resident of Pimpri, was at his house on Saturday night when Mulchandani with his associates allegedly entered his house around 10.30pm and threatened him to vacate the Gopichand chawl located in Pimpri.
Punjabi had complained about this incident to the Pimpri police to which they registered a non-cognizable offence. Two days later, on Monday night, Mulchandani again allegedly threatened Punjabi of dire consequences if he did not transfer the ownership of the chawl.

contacted the Pimpri police station and a case was registered against Mulchandani and four others.
u00a0Police Inspector Tukaram Gaud from the Pimpri police station said, that on the basis of Punjabi's complaint, Advocate Mulchandani, a corporator, his brother Manohar and two others Khema Bhojwani and Kishanchand Chanchlani have been booked.
No arrests were made in this regard until yesterday evening.
