Dutt's advocate Rizwan Merchant said, "We have informed the court that (Dutt) is being kept in barrack no 14, the anda cell. I will be meeting him tomorrow to ascertain the exact position."

Mediapersons continued their vigil outside Arthur Road Jail, hoping for a glimpse of the star during his shift from Arthur Road to either Yerwada or Nashik Central Prison.

At about 2 pm, Dutt's wife Maanyata made an appearance, along with an aide who had carried food for Dutt in a bag with Sai Baba's picture on it. The two made a quiet exit a few hours later.

Sources from the prison confirmed that there are no plans at present to shift Dutt to another prison.u00a0
