The Delhi High Court Tuesday dismissed the plea of fugitive don Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Ibrahim Parker challenging the central government's refusal to issue her a fresh passport, saying she herself is not interested in the case

"None appeared for the petitioner (Parker). It seems she is not interested in pursuing the matter anymore," Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw said, dismissing Parker's petition.

"In case she decides to pursue the case, she can revive it by depositing Rs.15,000 in the account of the Delhi High Court Lawyers' Welfare Fund," said the court.

This was the second time that the court dismissed Parker's plea on the ground of non-appearance. It dismissed the plea earlier in April but revived it in May on her request.

Parker approached the court after the government in December 2006 rejected her application for a new passport on the ground that she was Dawood Ibrahim's sister.

Government's counsel S.K. Dubey informed the court that her plea for a new passport was rejected as there were four criminal cases pending against her when she applied for it.

"One of the cases pertained to procuring the earlier passport on the basis of forged documents," said Dubey.

The regional passport office in Mumbai, where she applied for the new passport claiming that she had lost the old one in February 2005, rejected her plea as she had misled the authority by giving wrong names of her parents, he said.
