After Tuesday's Dhaula Kuan incident, Deputy Commissioner of Police, south district, HGS Dhaliwal held a meeting with the Assistant Commissioner of Police from the area and all Station House Officers at 10 in the night.
In the about one-and-a-half-hour-long meeting Dhaliwal asked his men to look for ways to solve the Dhaula Kuan case and discussed details of Radhika Tanwar's friends.
"We first took out her mobile phone details and then tried to find out who called her before the incident. After that we also checked her Facebook account to find out about all her friends as a jilted lover is suspected to be involved in the incident," police sources stated.u00a0u00a0
Speaking to MiD DAY, Dhaliwal, while leaving the Vasant Vihar police station at about 11.45 pm, where the meeting was held, said: "It is most probably a case of love affair gone awry and we have identified the person, but can't say anything else at this point of time."
Sources meanwhile said that cops are hopeful of catching the culprit who might be hiding in Haryana. "We suspect that the assailant hails from Haryana and has gone into hiding there after the incident," sources said.u00a0
