Delhi Police have booked an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer after his domestic help claimed that he had sexually assaulted her in Kenya where he was working at the Indian mission as its Deputy High Commissioner.
Ketan Shukla, 1986 batch IFS officer, was booked under Sections 376 (Rape) and 506 (Criminal Intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.
At the time of his arrest, Shukla was posted in Ahmedabad.
The 22-year-old woman hailing from Jharkhand has claimed that Shukla had sexually assaulted her during their stay in Kenya between 2007 and 2010. Shukla has denied the allegations.

"The medical examination of the woman will be conducted on Saturday as she has expressed inability to undergo the tests tonight," a police official said.
