Debarati Palit caught up with some of the bands who will perform at Radio One's One Pune One music live concert. The line-up includes iconic bands like Rudraagni, MH 12, Let Act, ShivMudra and Retro Legendary Act, all under one roof
ShivMudra
Shivmudra comes as a breeze of fresh air for music lovers. The group boasts of more than 350 members and performs traditional dance forms with dhol tasha (drums). Though they perform at concerts, they are mostly spotted at the Ganpati festival. Its members include college students and it is an attempt to keep ancient traditions alive. Says chairperson Asutosh Deshpande, "The tradition of playing Bollywood music at festivals is just not right. Our members tie drums weighing 15 kg around our stomachs and keep playing for almost 1.5 hours."

RudrAGNI
What happens when the essence of Agni metamorphoses into a more tougher avatar? Agni morphs into RudrAgni. Formed in 1985 by Pravin Bell, Bharath and Juggie, Agni has become one of the most loved rock bands in the country. With hundreds of performances to their credit, the band changed its name to RudrAGNI eight months back. This show will featureu00a0 original songs and a few covers by the band. The line-up includes Christopher Fonceca (lead guitar), Leo Mathew (keyboard), Uday (vocals), Ross (drums) and Bell (bass). They plan to modify their usual music and will play a combination of songs from two of their albums.

Retro Legendary Act
City band Retro Legendary Act is popular for their Classic Rock covers. The band includes Vijay Joshi (vocals), Ritesh (lead guitarist), Vijay Murthy (bass guitar), Hrishi (drums), Sourabh (keyboards) and Abhijit (percussion). Formed in 2006, the band has performed at various festivals and concerts. "For the upcoming event, we will play popular classic Rock covers, including Paranoid, Comfortably Numb and You Really Got Me," says Vijay Joshi. He adds that the show is a great platform for music lovers as they can listen to a variety of music ranging from Hindi Rock to English Rock at the same event.
