And cheer for India while you dig into cuisines of both nations at Saket
While every restaurant in town worth its salt is racking its brains to attract patrons during the Great Indian Cricket Tamasha (read Cricket World Cup 2011), and ending up doing the same thing over and over again, here's a diner den that is thinking, and doing things differently.
Bekti in coconut sauce from Zimbabwe
So rather than having a set menu where you get to eat (and drink) the same old thing over and over again, Baywatch at Welcomhotel Sheraton has crafted out different menus in the buffet for each of the countries that are participating in the World Cup.
What's more, there are a variety of dishes to choose from, so there's no way you will end up repeating the dishes even though you visit the place pretty regularly during this promotion. Unless, of course, some dish catches your fancy (like it happened in our case).
We visited the day New Zealand was playing Zimbabwe and sampled some mean Curried lentil and spinach soup, yummy Bekti in coconut sauce (worth 3-4 helpings) and some finely cooked New Zealand lamb and potatoes. Don't miss out on this one.
