To educate people about the H1N1 virus, I&B ministry is making a documentary film that will be screened on TV, theatres by next week
In a bid to create awareness about the H1N1 virus, the Information and Broadcasting (I&B) ministry is making a documentary film on swine flu. The 10-minute long film, which will be made in English and Hindi along with 14 other regional languages, will be released within a week.
The film division of I&B ministry has sent a team, which includes a cameraperson, director and a sound recordist, to Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi and other cities affected by the pandemic.
Sound recordist Vijay Bhatt, who is in the city, said, "We have completed our work in Pune and now we'll shoot at Kasturba Hospital in Mumbai." He added that there are several units working at different places and work of all the units will be pooled to make the film.
Mahesh Kamble, the chief cameraperson-cum-director, said, "The film will be released in theatres in a week's time. It will be screened before the movies start and during intervals. The film will also be released in audio and video format and will be aired on national television."
