Just around the corner has downed shutters for renovation but will be back in a new avatar by February
For nearly 13 years, Just Around The Corneru00a0 (JATC) stood at the crossroad opposite St Theresa Schoolu00a0 serving us paisa vasool, fuss-free Soup, Salad and Sandwiches even at midnight.
So, when we heard rumours that the popular Bandra joint had shut shop, changed management and had been rechristened Eat Around The Corner, we decided tou00a0 investigate and get the facts right.
First of all, JATC has only shut down for renovation. The place has had the same look for over a decade. It's only fair that a few changes be made. Secondly, senior staffers of Mars Enterprises, the company that owns JATC, have confirmed that the restaurant is still their baby.
"Just Around The Corner is currently shut for renovation. We will reopen by February," said our source from the corporate office. However, he did not confirm whether the name of the place will change with the new avatar.
What we have been told with certainty is that the iconic Salad Bar will remain, so will its chilled out ambience. "Our patrons will not be disappointed," reassured the source.
