Drunk driver rams his car into auto

A 63-year-old man driving his Maruti WagonR rammed the car into a stationary auto-rickshaw on Wednesday night. The driver, Arun, a resident of Halasur, was reportedly drunk. Arun was returning home when he first hit a stationary luggage auto near Madhavan Park. He then banged into a road divider and managed to cross over. Before the car came to a halt, it rammed into another passenger auto near Ashoka Pillar circle.u00a0
u00a0u00a0 The car and auto were badly damaged. The car driver, Arun, sustained serious injuries, while auto driver Honnaiah escaped with minor bruises. Wilson Garden police have registered a case.
