Bengaluru's La Bordello has developed a web conversation-mapping software, and plans for a Mumbai branch are underway
In a year from now, you will be able to hire a conversation, courtesy La Bordello. That's Spanish for brothel, but don't get ideas just yet. This is the harem of the aesthete, the garden of the noetic, says the official website. It's a conversation service launched in Bengaluru by software engineers Sriram CS and Ramanan Subramani.
If you pick a restaurant affiliated to La Bordello, like Little Italy for instance, you can hire a 'tooker' (an intellectual h''ker).

The tooker will regale you with conversation on movies, music, art, biking, philosophy and martial arts, for Rs 1,000. A meal is thrown in for good measure.
Subramani says they'd like to launch a branch in Mumbai, and that "should take another year".Meanwhile, the duo is developing a software to map conversations online. "Vtook is like an automated DNA. The software shows you the mental framework of a conversation. There are a million ramifications of any conversation, depending on the topic you begin with, and the varied subjects you end up touching on during the course of the conversation.

Teeker: An individual seeking a conversationalist
Tooker: A conversationalist on hire.
Torgy: An intellectual orgy
Talkgasm: Go figure!
