Demonstrate against CBI's petition to close case
Braving Thursday's cold, the family and friends of slain teenager Aarushi Talwar held a candlelight protest against the CBI's petition to close the case.

A prayer was held at Jantar Mantar and those gathered there asked the authorities to further investigate into the case and nab the real culprits. Aarushi's parents Rajesh and Nupur Talwar were also present at the protest.
"We want to raise our voice against the injustice meted out to Asrushi's parents.
The real culprits should be brought to book. It is failure of the CBI as it has accused the wrong person of the murder of Aarushi. During the investigation, allegations were made even against the slain girl," said Dinesh Talwar, Arushi's uncle.
The CBI had moved the Ghaziabad court Dec 29, 2010, seeking permission to close the case on grounds of lack of conclusive evidence. In its closure report, the agency has named the 14-year-old girl's dentist father Rajesh Talwar as the lone suspect in the case but expressed its inability to prosecute him because of insufficient evidence.
The Special Court will decide on the closure report today. "The closure report by the CBI is false and misleading. We demand a fair probe in the case," said Kabir Nanda, Arushi's friend.
