Victims were returning to their residence in Shahdara after attending a wedding at Agra
Five people were killed and four others were injured when the luxury car they were traveling in, crashed against an oil tanker at Ballabgarh about 7 kms from Faridabad on NH 2 on Tuesday night.

The incident occurred at 11pm on Tuesday when family of one Laxman Goel traveling in Ford Endeavour was on its way to Shahdara in Delhi. The family was returning home after attending a marriage ceremony in Agra.
The car was following an oil tanker, which took a sudden U-turn at Sikri-Pyala crossing under Ballabgarh Sadar police station, due to which the speeding Endeavour crashed into the tanker.
Soon after the incident, traffic was disrupted for some time and some locals gathered at the spot who rushed the deceased and the injured to hospital. At hospital five members of the family were declared dead by doctors and two others who were seriously injured were shifted to Nagendra Mohan hospital in Mohan Nagar, Gaziabad and are on ventilator for now.
