If Spain and Japan don't fascinate you as much as France, you've reached the right place. An ongoing French fest - the Francophonie Week, is all set to introduce to you its cinematic techniques through music, conferences and theatric production. Here's where we tell you all about it.

Eighteen films from 10 different countries, majorly France and India, will be screened during the fest. The other participating countries are Switzerland, Bulgaria, Canada, Austria and Lebanon. Watch out for flicks like Sur Mes Levres, Le Destin and La Terre among others. This apart, the do will also see various contests and workshops to keep you glued to 'Frenchisms'.
Setting the stage
The affair involves two theatrical releases. The first, La Lecon, has been written by playwright Eugene Ionesco, whose work denounces the absurdity of life and social relations using parody. The second, La Lecon d'anatomie by Larry Tremblay, is about a brilliant teacher and his wife, who finds herself powerless in the presence of her husband, and is keen break free.
